What our tenants think of us

The history of the building

This building was formerly known as 54/57 Frederick Street and was in fact a row of terraced houses. Thereafter it was an 8,000 sq.ft. pressure gauge factory adjoining The Argent Centre.

Some of the units to rear are narrow with windows along one elevation which were ideal for workbenches being situated under the windows for intricate work to be carried out.

It stood derelict and an eyesore on the streetscape of all the Heritage buildings for more than 20 years because commercial developers were unable to deliver a viable scheme. However, MIA saw the potential and purchased the building in 1999 and redeveloped the property into 15 modern office spaces

Did you know?

Did you know that if you were to pop into unit 1, in the middle of the office you can see the old “entry” between the terrace houses that were!
