New Wing

About the building

The building was built in 2005 and fitted with high security KABA keys. Due to the clientele to be attracted, all unit doors and internal walls are steel lined for extra security.
The ceramic tiled elevation was one of the first buildings to use this facade as designed by our architect, Hugh Byrd.
There is CCTV to cover the common areas and entrance points.

What our tenants think of us

The history of the building

The New Wing is on the site of a row of former industrial/carpentry units which were located to the rear of The Argent Centre. After the decline is requirements for industrial/carpentry units in the Jewellery Quarter, MIA decided to demolish these unlettable units and redevelop the site to offer 10 units for creative and jewellery industries.

Did you know?

Galvanised metalwork was added to the façade to give the impression of a north lighted roof construction which is common within the Jewellery Quarter.
